These Terms of Engagement outline how Boho Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”) works with customers (“you”). Placing an order with us means you understand and agree to the following terms.



Communication & Conduct


We are committed to providing a respectful, professional, and positive experience for every customer. We expect the same in return.


Respectful Communication

We will not tolerate:
  • abusive or insulting language
  • condescending or demeaning comments
  • threats, intimidation, or coercion
  • emotional, verbal, or psychological harassment

Harassment, intimidation, verbal abuse, and emotional abuse are prohibited under:
  • VAPPA (2015) which protects individuals from verbal, emotional & psychological abuse
  • Nigerian Criminal Code which prohibits threats, intimidation, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace

Our Right to Protect Our Staff

If disrespectful or harassing communication occurs at any stage (inquiry, production, delivery, or after delivery), we reserve the right to:
  • pause communication
  • pause production
  • pause delivery
  • terminate the order and offer a partial refund
  • refuse future business

Orders & Payments


Payment Policy

Production begins only after payment is made.
Payments are non-transferable to another order unless approved by management.

Production Timeline

Timelines vary by product category. You will receive a delivery/production estimate during ordering.

Timelines may be adjusted due to:
  • material availability
  • logistics delays
  • force majeure
  • design modifications
  • large-volume orders

Custom Orders

Our products and designs selected by our customers are custom made specifically to meet the customer’s demands. Hence, the customer shall:

a. Not reject the final product provided it substantially meets the specifications of the order

b. Not be entitled to a refund unless the product fails to satisfy the basic requirement of the order specification 

c. For custom pieces, sketches/approvals must be confirmed before production begins.



Cancellations, Pauses & Changes

Customer-Initiated Cancellation

If you cancel an order after production has begun, refunds (if any) will exclude:
  • cost of materials purchased
  • labour completed
  • logistics costs
  • administrative costs
This ensures fairness and prevents losses.


Boho-Initiated Pause

We may pause production or delivery if:
  • communication becomes abusive
  • details are unclear
  • payments are incomplete
  • safety concerns arise

Boho-Initiated Cancellation

We may cancel an order due to:
  • harassment
  • threats
  • use of abusive language
  • unsafe or hostile situations

Refunds will be processed minus costs already incurred.



Delivery & Pickup


Delivery Responsibility

Delivery fees are separate and depend on location.
Delivery timelines may shift due to traffic, bad roads, weather, or third-party logistics challenges. For more information on this, kindly refer to our Returns Policy.

Pickup Option

Customers may arrange their own pickup. Once an item leaves our premises, Boho Studio is no longer liable for damage.

Delivery Attempts

If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery, the order will be returned to our facility at the expense of the customer, and a second attempt will attract an additional fee.


Quality, Faults & Adjustments

Quality Assurance

All items undergo inspection before delivery.
Minor variations in color or texture may occur due to lighting or material differences. Kindly refer to our Refunds & Returns Policy for more information.


Future Engagement


Boho Studio reserves the right to decline future business if:
  • a customer has harassed or insulted our staff
  • caused operational disruption
  • refused to communicate respectfully

This is to protect our team, our business, and other customers.



8. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order (online, in-store, via WhatsApp, or through any Boho Studio representative), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Engagement.
